These joints are manufactured from pegged steel manreinforced graphite (otherwise known as tang). We also manufacture from Novus 49 material.

These gaskets are used for steam and processing applications. They provide a higher performance seal in these conditions than non-asbestos jointing.

Graphite is typically used for high temperatures, such as steam and exhaust applications.
